BEDFORD TEXAS IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
BEDFORD TEXAS IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS
"BEDFORD IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS"
Fiscal responsibility is the key to growth and business generation. A priority of mine is to help business owners establish, expand, and consider Bedford first. Bedford is growing, Mindful city spending is the first step to success.
I am business first! I am a businessman, a philanthropist, and a charity auctioneer. I believe the future of Bedford is currently attending the HEB ISD schools. I also believe in developing talent within the community, our future leaders need involvement in our current-day operations.
Who I am.
I am a 57-year-old lifelong resident of Tarrant County. I have 3 daughters and 1 son; all of my children are thriving in Tarrant and Johnson counties. I am married to my wife Lisa; we have been together since 2010 and we have an English bulldog named “Big Juicy” and a Shih Tzu named “Ollie”.
What I believe.
I believe the Mayor should be the leader of a city and the first to step up at any opportunity to reduce tax on the taxpayer. Currently, the city is in a tax surplus, and the opportunity was voted 7-0 to maintain .49 instead of reducing it to .45. The surplus and excess tax are the people’s money. I believe that this alone is a fundamental excess tax issue.
The question is why are you running for Mayor?
In short, I have witnessed the city miss multiple opportunities and seem to continually come up short. The decisions on deals and property sales had me scratching my head, and continued loss for the city. See below for a couple of examples.
We MUST have qualified people on committees, business experience, construction experience, landscape experience, beautification experience ...
Remember last month? Make sure to hold those accountable at the ballot box.
"30 Miles from Bedford is anywhere but Bedford". VOTE NO
The City Manager should be a resident of the City of Bedford.
Thank you for the many phone calls and text asking how you can support me. I believe this video sums it up. I’m totally self funded and asked that you be of service to someone else in this great city. I only ask for your vote.
Private business is the key to keeping taxes low, every time a point of sale hits, Bedford wins. The private business spends thousands courting the city to be in compliance and yet again…… Bedford lost a potential business. Bedford must do better.
Grocery stores are essential and GREAT. Some folks might not know that consumable food with few exceptions are tax exempt.
Bedford MUST be more fiscally responsible. This sale demonstrates a lack of leadership and business experience. Bedford leaders must do better.
